Anyome know of a local place? Home Depot and Lowes don't stock them. I can get one from Amazon by Wednesday but want to get it tomorrow morning. It's an oval one for the air handler not the compressor fan. 7.5mf 440V

TIA!

It looks like, if you order it now from Amazon, it will come tomorrow, but probably not in the morning. Unless, it is available for pickup on at an Amazon locker.

Be sure to buy a USA made part. Foreign made is junk

I'm no expert but, I would try to find one made in the US. Gossip perhaps but I've read capacitors from China do not last as long. Interesting that it says castor oil filled. Castor oil is an organic oil from castor plant seeds. I'm not sure you can still buy oil filled capacitors. They do or did last longer than dielectric capacitors.

City Electric in Leesburg, end of main Street near 441. I had a good experience there.

Yea. I ordered one and will keep it as a spare. I replaced the compressor cap and the compressor relay (I keep one each “in stock”) but didn’t have an AH cap which turns out to be what I need. I also replaced the fan relay board in the AH while I was in there. :)

At this point I don’t care if it was made by a 12yr old living in a cave in roast pork lo-mein province. I’ll replace it again in another few years if needed. Takes 5 minutes. ;)

I did but Their next day deliveries recently have been running at about 50%. Just got a next day delivery today on day #4 and another one never arrived that was totally lost.

Thanks. Great place. Never thought of them being down here. Used to use them in NJ all the time. If this Leesburg place can't help will have to head up there.

I wonder if Munn’s, Sunshine or SunKool would sell you one if you went to their store . SunKool is on 301 north of Wildwood. Might be worth a shot calling them

Thanks Rich ... didn't get your PM but I really appreciate the offer. A/H fan stayed on overnight (maybe the fan relay board did the trick) and Amazon package is scheduled soon so I should have 2 of them. I also ordered a capacitor checker (actually a new multi-meter as my current one is about 25 years old) so I can actually check them.
