concrete landscape curbing install

looking for recommendations for new concrete landscape curbing install, or alternate edging type that would last 15 to 20 years

I am looking for contractors that do the decorative "wall" edging for beds around the yard.
I am surprised at the lack of response to this thread.

Well, unless you mow your own grass, the edging will be destroyed..

We had ours done by Terrascapes..they did it themselves and did not sub it out when they landscaped the yard.

I am, too. Our rocks were manually stacked around to raise the beds around two trees when the landscaping was first installed ten years ago and have and in ten years are askew. We want to find a contractor who will do the round walls with mortar.

[according to a recent post fl conc. only lasts 15 to 20 years, you're asking for extruded conc curbing which will probably crack in the 1st year unless properly jointed. haven't yet seen any containing #3/#4 rebar OR fiber ]neighbor had it installed but random cracking every 2'-3'

IMHO, your 15 to 20 year requirement is not practical, unless you are putting in a full foundation (think curbing along a road). Any landscaping type curbing or walls is subject to root growth, ground settlement, etc. Further, there is on going maintenance, both require some form of yearly cleaning, and possibly sealing to slow mold growth.
The only thing I have seen actually last that long is a LOOSE stone wall (aka stacked stone, NOT the landscaping stone) as these can move a little and not look out of alignment.
I wish you a lot of luck with your project.
