Excess dirt to get rid of

...did some gardening and have a few pots of dirt; where can we take to get rid of it?

You do not say how much or the quality-potting soil vs the sandy clay that is natural.
In any case, you can post it for free and have people take it. You can screen it to remove pebbles and spread it out on your planting beds or lawn.

From previous experience, I know I’ll be needing that soil at some point. Therefore, I picked a spot under one of the spigots that’s out of sight and dump it there.

Just broadcast it on your lawn.

Agree with above, spread it on your lawn, your grass will appreciate it.

Well, if got rock yard. You don’t want to spread dirt on it, there already enough dirt on top of the landscape blanket makes weeds pop up. you can cut holes in you’re pockets and spread it throughout villages? :faint:

Think you mean The Great Escape.

........and I would add, only one American, Major Johnnie Dodge, participated in the "Great Escape", and he had become a British citizen, despite what Hollywood says!
