Mamma Mia at the Savannah Center
 

Hubby and I saw the show last evening. What great entertainment for a Pro-Am production. We Villagers are very lucky to have the great local talent that we have. Many thanks to Alex Santoriello for lending his amazing vocals and production expertise to these local productions of Broadway shows at the Savannah Center.

This production did not feature live musicians but the conductor "orchestrating" the computer musical tracks did an awesome job. There were no hiccups at the show last night. It was flawless.

Donna Moore as Donna was impeccable; Dawn Dinome as Tanya gave a hilarious and spicy performance; Mary Jo Vitale as Sophie really pulled off the 20 year old character surprising well. The other featured actors gave great performances too. Enjoyed Clark Barrios as the groom.

Bottom line.....this was a great show!
