Why close group talk??
 

WHY DO THE MODERATORS of this site CLOSE discussion groups?? I wanted to get information on bright line eating support grp and it's closed and wanted to answer a woman who asked for help in a support grp and that post was closed? I don't often come on but would like to participate when I do??

Is it an old thread? I think inactive threads get closed by the system after a certain period of inactivity automatically. No moderator intervention required.

You can always contact her by private message by clicking on her member ID and then clicking on 'send a private message'...the appropriate screen will appear.

OP, you should be able to search the old thread, and then as noted above, read the posts and when you find the woman, post a private message.

The thread was started and ended in January, 2020. It's only 2 months away from January 2022, 2 years later.

I'll go out on a limb here and take a wild guess that the OP has either already gotten whatever help they need by now, or no longer cares.

As mentioned, the system automatically closes older threads after a certain period of inactivity. If you have new or updated thoughts on the topic, feel free to start a new thread.
