Quantum fiber/century link

I read in a previous post about CL splitting up and it's sister co. is now quantum fiber... I tried unsuccessfully to get info. with the chat they have... I now have PRICE FOR LIFE with CL 80M for $45 a month which includes modem... what I have read is I can now get 200M thru QF for $49 but not sure if this includes modem and is it PRICE FOR LIFE??

The 200Mbps does not include the modem, fees or taxes. Once you add that in you are looking at $62.36/month. If you opt for their 1Gbps speed, they include the modem, taxes, and fees in the $65 flat rate charge.

From what I’ve been told from century link agents they only offer speeds of up to 80m if you have 200m you have already transitioned over to quantum .. and it is not price for life … I just got off the phone again with them

I’m sure if I had 80Mbps streaming HD takes about 6mbps I’m sure I’d be fine with that currently tested with Fast.com download 185Mbps wireless Streaming tv and downloading and converting music.
No real issues.
No longer can you put Centurylink internet on vacation rate we’re as you can pause Quantum for time away at no monthly charge.
I’m still only paying $49 no additional fees/taxes.
