Someone to change light bulb in Cathedral Ceiling

I am looking for a recommendation for a handiman to change a light bulb for me m in the highest part of a cathedral ceiling. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would suggest that you buy a light bulb changer extension pole from Home Depot, Lowes, or Amazon. Then, if you can't use it yourself, you should be able to ask a neighbor to help. Also, use an LED light bulb as a replacement. I would use a "daylight" bulb for the best, natural type lighting. If it is on a dimmer switch, make sure you get a dimmable bulb.

My back is a mess so I will not do it. I assume they are the typical sunken bulbs. You can purchase a bulb changing device. A sort of extendable broom handle with a device that grabs the bulb and allows you to remove it while standing on the ground. Like everything else buy a good one not a cheap one. Bulbs have a service life-estimated number of hours. If, one has blown I would replace all that light together. The others will blow soon.

If, the bulb is at an angle or the small candelabra base bulbs you will need to get a ladder.
Ten foot ceilings and you will need an eight foot ladder. Have someone with you to hold the ladder. The eight foot ladder. You will need it again for stuff like changing smoke detector batteries.

If you can’t find someone to help you out in the meantime, send me a PM in early January. I would be happy to change it for you. Unfortunately, we aren’t scheduled to be at our Villages home until January 3rd, weather permitting since we will be driving.

When we bought our house 5 years ago, that's the first thing we did on EVERYTHING
that contain a light bulb.
Bought all on Amazon.

Several good suggestions below however when you get the LED bulb look for the 5000 rating which is a brighter white light, and if possible you may want to get one that can be dimmed

Here is a suggestion that may help anyone reading this. When I change a lightbulb anywhere I put a little bulb grease on the threaded base of the bulb. In bathrooms and kitchens where there is humidity the metal will corrode over the years. Sure makes it easy to screw in and out the next time it needs replacement. Available at Ace, Lowe’s, HD

It all started with a lightbulb…..

Try calling your local fire department. I have heard that some of them will do this for seniors or for people with disabilities. I'm not sure if this is done in TV or not.

You did an incredible job on a ceiling for me sometime last year. I will take you up on your kind offer if you will allow me to pay for your service .... you can put it in the Salvation Army collection bucket, but I do need to pay for a service rendered. :)
