Florida Blue
Villages Health has accepted Florida Blue for a couple of years. If you have switched from United Healthcare to Florida Blue do you have any pros and cons to say about the plan.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield is in my opinion the best health care insurance provider out there, albeit also probably the most expensive. That being said, you get what you pay for. We have Massachusetts Blue, so Florida is technically out of network. However, when I got sick last Spring in Florida and ended running up over a quarter million of billed health care expenses, BCBS worked with the health care providers and agreed to accept the negotiated rates in the Florida network. After I hit my maximum out of pocket, I didn’t have to pay another penny. There isn’t a high enough recommendation I could give BCBS.

You didn't specify if you were talking about a Medicare program or non-Medicare. I'm not eligible for Medicare yet, and use FloridaBlue for my ACA-subsidized health insurance. It's just about as good at the BCBS plan in the north was. Plus the hospital campus and Villages Health offices are essentially across the street from my neighborhood. So I can get to my doctor within 10 minutes by golf cart, 5 minutes by car.
