age range in TV?

Hello all you lucky TVers! I am still trying to get in - can't sell my house here in CT. Anyway, could you tell me the average age in TV. Also what percentage of folks are 55-65, 65-75, 75 and up? Thank you.

I believe the newer generation in places like Buttonwood and Pennecamp are closer
to 60.

Nearly everyone in TV is young, regardless of chronological age.

Have I told you lately how smart you are?

The average age depends on the village to some extent. When we moved here nine years ago the average age in my neighborhood was about 65. There has been very little turnover so you could assume the average age is now 74.

However, I wonder about the importance of "average". There was once a case of a man drowning while trying to wade across a river whose average depth was two feet.

Graciegirl said it all. Chronological age is not important.

My neighbor just turned 56 and I turned 59. I am a Pennecamper.

As e newbie, let me say welome to TOTV.

I am having the same problem selling my condo in Bridgeport and can't wait to move to TV, (aka paradise). If I could have a do-over, I would have sold my condo when the market was good and would have been in TV four years ago.

IMO - My impression is most of the new homes are being sold to people in the 55-65 age bracket.

Best wishes for your move to TV.

2BNTV is right on with the ages for newbies buying in the newer sections. With so many early retirement incentives and so many baby boomers not happy with the limited job market they may find it better to retire at 62 and collect SS.

I'm 54 and my husband's 58. We've been here six years so we moved here when I was 48 and my husband was 52.
