I never knew that monkeys were in the wild in Florida until we encountered quite a few of them at the 'park and fly' lot for the Fort Lauderdale airport when we lived down there.... they built the lot in a area where the monkeys had lived forever (well, since they escaped)....and the monkeys decided that they weren't about to be relocated. They were harmless, but when twenty of thirty of them come walking down the lane you parked you car in while you're waiting for the transport bus to come around and they start climbing all over your luggage fiddling with the locks and walking all over your car it was a little too much for my wife to feel comfortable about |
