Need recommendation for Auto Transmission Repair
 

I have an GMC Arcadia that is having transmission problems. Looking for a recommendation for a transmission shop.

I had problems with my Chevrolet. Took it to Lake Sumter Transmission in Leesburg. Inspected the problem with a road test and proceeded with a repair. Drained the transmission and cleaned the pan. Replaced fluid and additive. So far so good. Lots of problems with torque converters in 6 speed transmission. Cost about 300......limited guarantee. If you belong to AAA show card for a discount.

Lake Sumter transmission in Leesburg. They have a good operation there. I always cringe when I have to take my vehicle to a new mechanic, especially for trans work. I can definitely recommend them.

Lake Sumter Transmission in Leesburg is highly rated, as is Turner Transmission in Ocala, who have been is business since the 1950's. In my experience Turner Transmission will be less expensive.
