The Villages Doo Wop Music Club is hosting a 50's music/halloween costume party this saturday, oct 23 at laurel manor rec center in the lincoln room..costumes optional, prizes awarded,snacks and drinks provided or byob if you like...tickets available at the door for $17 but mention Talk of the Villages and get a $2 discount. sounds like fun! must be village resident or have guest pass...their website is

a good time was had by all at this dance...thanks to the president of the club and his wife for all the planning and arranging, and to the dee jay for a walk down memory lane (or rather a dance!) we even did the stroll!!
