I have some friends that are interesting in moving to TV, what should I tell them?

Visit first. The longer the better...

Talk to everyone you meet. Most are happy to share their experiences...

First... GO PACK!!!! Woo hoo!!
Second - tell them it's an amazing place... just ignore all the "haters"
If they're from WI... tell them to sell the snowblower and roof rake. (yes, we had a roof rake).

Invite them down and show them around, introduce them to your sales agent. We stayed with friends 5-6 weeks over a number of years before buying.

It has gotten too big, stay home.

Tell them to wait till all the baby boomers have moved in. That should be about 15 years from now and then the prices will be lower.

Seeing is believing. You can tell them all you want and then they can make their decisions. There is good and bad to be told about anywhere and TVLG is no different.

Look around first. Don't it always seem to go. That you don't know what you've got, Till it's gone, They paved paradise, And put up a parking lot. 2005 was a much nicer time to have moved here. IMHO.
