The Villages Public Safety Department (TVPSD) responded to many incidents during the 20/21 fiscal year. With nine fire stations, 150 full-time firefighters, six battalion chiefs and 16 administrative personnel, TVPSD responded to 24,552 incidents. 17,165 (or 70%) of the incidents were rescue and emergency service related.
