Movie Rentels from the Past

Anyone knows where to rent cheap good movies from the last 10-20 years.

Ex: Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Densel Washington, Morgan Freeman, Meryl Streep, Jack Nickelson, etc.

Streaming is very limited in their selection and Red box has all the latest crap

Anyone?

You can still get a Netflix account that sends movies on DVD’s in the mail. I think it’s $12.99 per month to have two movies at a time with an unlimited amount of total movies (the limit is the turn around time in the mail).

NetFlix DVD's or your local library.

The Lake County library seems to have a better selection than Sumter. Also, you can buy cheap movies at the Goodwill stores.

There are at least 20 free streaming movie sites including movies from the 1930 thru 2020. Problem is you need an Smart tv, Amazon, or similar device hooked up to your tv. Just as Beta tapes were replaced by VHS, vinyl was replaced by various type of tapes now being replaced by downloadable or stream MP3’s. Adapt or loose-out change is hard but the car eventuality the horse and buggy

Amazon has a good selection of order movies for rent or purchase. You will need to stream the movies. Being a Amazon Prime member also helps out. Also, if you are a Comcast customer you have a free membership to The Peacock Network. This site has a good selection of older movies. Lastly, if you have a streaming device, Crackle and Filmrise are good sources of older movies. These services are free but have short commercials.

Marion Flea Market on 441 has (or used to have as I haven't been there in 18 months) tables with hundreds or probably thousands of DVD's for $1-$5 as well as VHS tapes and even 8 track tapes.
