Physicians Rehabilitation

My mother saw this article in the paper for Physicians Rehabilitation specializing in back, neck & knee pain.

Has anyone had any experience with this company. Is it covered by insurance?

You will need to check with your insurance company to see if she is covered under her plan or which insurance company they have a contract with.
Never heard of that company

Never heard of them. But considering the target population around here back, neck and knee pain must be a gold mine. Tread carefully.

My two cents worth. The average age in the villages is 70. I am one year over average.
Back, knee, neck pain is almost a given.

I good book, a little out of date is called CROOKED. It covers drugs, surgery, acupuncture, and exercise. I AM NOT A DOCTOR. Drugs, the best pain cover up drugs are opioids, we know or should know they are addictive and over time the results diminish. Steroids are not addictive but again the results diminish with each treatment. Back surgery, 50% of the time is a failure and the side effects can be worse that you started with.

Irony-Ponce de Leon came to Florida looking for the fountain of youth and they put the villages here.

I think this is the group (on Rt 44 in a plaza) I went to for a series of gel knee injections. They clearly didn't help me. Injections were paid for by Medicare plus supl insurance. Procedure/injections was close to painless. Your results could be different. I then had a knee replacement by Dr Nguyen in Orlando and am now completely pain free in knee - recommend him highly.

I'm no stranger to knee pain. But I have found that a glass of Courvoisier VSOP Cognac or two is a grand remedy. Doesn't do a damn thing for the pain, but it DOES make having it more fun.

It took several visits with shots of different visco-supplements to find the one that worked for my husband - and he does well with the successful one now - just two shots/year!

Gel Knee injection

Have been getting "SynVisc" gel knee injections for a number of years.
They have for sure helped my knee condition, so far.
My Ins. covers them every 6 mo's plus 1 day.
Orhto. MD says at some point it will stop working then will need a knee replacement.
Got the last one at physicians Rehab., close to 9 months ago, still feels good.
Will go back to them when another is needed.
I know the Gel Injections don't work for everybody, but so far it works for me, will keep it
going till it stops working.
