Need recommendation for alloy wheel repair/refinishing

I have curb scraps and rock dings on a few of my car’s alloy rims. I found a place to repair near Daytona, but would like to find a place locally.

Has anyone found an alloy wheel repair/refinish place or individual near TV?

If you would do a SIMPLE internet search “alloy wheel specialIst near me” you will find what you seek

We've used Darren Did It twice, once in 2018 and again in 2020. He came to our home and did the work in the garage. We were very satisfied with his work.

In 2018 (the only receipt I have) he charged $400.00 to repair three rims. IIRC, one of them was pretty scraped up.

He lives in Eustis. His phone is 407-590-3000.

$400.00?
Now I would check on new replacement for those prices.

DH did. Remember, it was three damaged rims. It was cheaper and easier to repair than replace.

That is great. Thank you, I will give him a call. By the way, I certainly did Google before posting and nothing found close around TV. Unfortunately, Google wouldn't give me Darren or a trusted Villager recommendation which is why this forum exists. Thanks again everyone.

Wait until you see the prices for replacement rims, 6 years ago a replacement for a VW Beetle rim was $400, my neighbor just had a quote for a replacement on a SUV $780 they are absolutely ridiculous. O for the days of steel wheels and hub caps.

Or, if you have the time, patience and enjoy a project, you can do it yourself after watching many videos found by googling, "how do you remove scratches from alloy wheels."
Enjoy!

Go to any dealership selling used cars and ask who they use.

I would be leary of this. You wheels are powder coated not painted. No way can he do this at your house. In Tanya getting it done correctly is if memory correct $100 per wheel .Wheel is removed all finish removed, repairs and and then refinished. There are 2 shops in Tampa that I know of .THe CON, takes about 2 days.

The Honda dealer in Leesburg did two of mine for $68 each.

Ebay can be a good source for replacement wheels at a reasonable cost.

Before I would pay those NEW prices I’d check savage yards for at least 1/2 or more off.
