As usual, looks like you are going to get plenty of advice...LOL ! We've used Edwin Watts for years, but I am sure the technician(s) they use change for time to time. My tip... they have coupon in their catalog or mailing list from time to time for savings on re-gripping. Just had mine done with my favorite grips ($7.99) plus $2 per club, without a sale going on. However, you can get grips for MUCH less, depends on your requirements. As for doing it yourself...well, some advocate that, but you do really need a GOOD vice and there is no room for error. If you make a slight "slip" it could throw your entire grip off. Hubby has done some for the grands; cutting down and gripping old sets of ours. Up to you what the time is worth, but yes, we have used Ed Watts for years and years when we lived in south Florida and now here. Never had a complaint or anything even slightly "off" the "arrow"... so there's another recommendation:clap2:
