Don't look up movie production story, all in MA

Adam McKay discusses filming 'Don't Look Up' in Boston during COVID-19

The whole movie was filmed in Boston, and part of on the street in adjacent to Coach K's hospital, however, the movie buffs can't figure out where. . .

But some of the story is very interesting about the production to start at the beginning of 2020. Devonshire and Federal in Boston became New York City. . .

go Boston, MA the best cold state in the world!

We were both born and grew up in MA - lived there for 60 years. Thank God someone bought our horse farm and we could leave.
The absolute kicker was, during the pandemic, outside horse shows could not be held but you could go to a casino. MA always has and always will be all about the money.
Good riddance.

I know where Devonshire and Federal are - I worked in "Downtown" area between the Park Street and Gov't Center T-stations for awhile when I was living in Brighton. Had to be THE windiest street in the whole darned city.

Which hospital, Tufts Medical Center? That's the closest one I can remember to that area other than Mass General.

There were some scenes filmed in Fall River, of all places. Last place on earth I would expect a film crew to show up.

The hospital is out in Worcester and the filming was on front str, near CoachK's office building, as she works in administration, not clinical in the hospital . . . The scene driving down the highway is the MA pike, and the Fall river is the battleship scene, and a few others. . .

anyway, i was hoping that charleo would chime in as the Boston expert

Good riddance.

My daughter rode at Harmony Stables in Littleton, coachK competed in NH throughout HS and wrote the scoring program on the computer and was an announcer with her mom for many many years in Contoocook, NH

My daughter managed the horses on a 60 horse riding camp in New Hampshire for several years. .

I can't sit on a horse for more than 5 minutes

Oh, Boston, you're my home

Despite the references to Boston and the Charles River in "Dirty Water," the Standells are not from Massachusetts. Tower Records producer Ed Cobb wrote the song after a visit to Boston, during which he was robbed on a bridge over the Charles River. None of the Standells had been to Boston before the song was released.

Well, I love that dirty water
Oh, Boston, you're my home

And a toast to Florida, where only altruistic people live in social purity and are never materialistic.
