Bear at Sawgrass

We drove down to Southern Oaks today and went for a walk on the beautiful nature trail in Hawkins.

Then we drove over to Sawgrass in St. Catherine to look at the new putting course and we saw a large black bear walking along the road. The bear was between the putting course and the mesh fence around the new construction.

The bear seemed irritated by the mesh fence, so it started running toward the Ezell Rec Center. We tried to follow it, but by the time we got our car turned around, it had disappeared.

Unless some friendly Villagers took it in and fed it, it probably went into woods bordering St. Catherine and maybe ended up in Chitty Chatty.

Bears

Friends of our in Bradford last night showed us pictures of 2 different bear, small and a pretty big one, that were captured on home security cameras in that area.

Was later spotted in Citrus Grove. Got into some trash bags over there.

OMG, another home going up next to our Den. What are we going to do, where are going to go? Remember the days when we could roam the woods and never see one of those two-legged things.

Mother and cub? Lets hope they can be captured and relocated before they or any humans get hurt or killed.

"Some days you eat bear, some days bear eats you" old Sioux Indian saying

Some bears showing up would make the nature trail and observatory at Citrus Grove more interesting for sure.

A Fed Bear is a Dead Bear! Avoid chasing bears , it causes undue stress on the bear.. city people

Villages 2014 the area south of 44 was all woodlands. today all houses .. animals like some humans are creatures of habit, the bears habitats have been destroyed, they will wander away, just leave them and all of other wildlife alone and they will be okay.
