Question for Walmart Shoppers
 

I was told there is a difference in prices between the Walmart in TV,
compared to the Walmart on Hy. 441?

TV Walmart charges more because it's in TV.

Any Walmart shoppers notice this?

I haven’t, but the one on the south end of 441 is a pit and we don’t feel safe over there. The one on the north side is too far.

Why are some Walmarts cheaper than others?
There are many reasons. They buy merchandise from different wholesalers or directly from the manufacturer. Some store plow advertising dollars into reducing the price while others use the money as profit. Some stores are based on volume, others are based on profit, or any combination.

I have never shopped Walmart until they built the one in the Wedgewood Lane area. Their produce is excellent. I shop for fruit and vegetables there.

I would not be surprised about different prices in different stores of the chain. Read the fliers from other stores. Often it says buy one get one free but it does not show the price.

Some seem to be paranoid, the world is picking on the villages, or at least the State of Florida. Truly it is simple. If, it is not worth what they are asking don't buy it. If, it is a few cents cheaper at another store, is it worth the gas, the wear and tear on your car, your time to drive there? Sometimes it is. Sometimes it isn't.

Prices can vary by store. Depends on local competition. Prices went down on some items when Aldi arrived

Different counties might have something to do with it?

I've been shopping there for 3 years now and have never felt unsafe. Have never witnessed a physical altercation or even a loud argument. It is an old store that shows its age and really should be torn down and rebuilt.

If you really need to know, you can buy 10 items at one store, and then shop for same at other. Or You can put an app on your phone, to compare price. Scan barcode and in a second gives you cost at what stores you have added. Rarely shop at Walmart. But prices do come up on my app.

We shop at the 2 Walmarts you can get to by golf cart. The one on Wedgewood is nicer but if we are going to Lowes as well we will cross over the Spanish Springs bridge and shop at that Walmart. Never looked or noticed price differences.

My life is a little different than yours. My cell rings and I get 15 minutes to get to the OR to fix someone like you. So without the 9 people who carry those pieces of crap you refer to. You would be a veg or dead. But sometimes life is fair:MOJE_whot:

You have been down the cell disbelief before. It’s ok no one cares if you don’t carry one or can’t use one. However if you don’t have first have first hand knowledge of Walmart, why expect someone to do your research.
