Island Fin Poke

We went here for lunch today and it was excellent. There was a large selection of delicious and healthy options served over white or brown rice. This is a great option for vegans also.

Love this place. Seems a bit expensive until you realize how special and costly some of the ingredients are. Healthy. Fresh. Delicious!

"Dis place mo bedda, Bra!"

😃👍👍

Original Hawaiian Poke (pronounced Po-kay) does not have a thousand ingredients. Just quality Japanese rice with lot of marinated sashimi in a light sauce with onions. Whomever came up with the "salad bar" version got it wrong.

One of the very few and esp. in Paddock Square that offer anything close to a healthy entree. Goes against give me a piece a meat smothered in butter, cream, grease or gravy that is the most preferred in all TV restaurants.

The poke dish has changed quite a bit from the original Japanese dish, outside of the multiple cubes of fish you will find many other ingredients mixed in , travel around the island of Hawaii and you will be able to eat quite a lot of different versions so the “Poke Salad Bar “ has a lot in common with Hawaiian poke

Thanks for the review, sounds like a place my wife and I will enjoy. It would likely be a frequent go to for us if it was closer to LSL or SS, but we will make it a destination next time we get a bite in Brownwood after a round at Evans Prairie or a swim at Eisenhower.

My husband and I recently ate there. Was happy to see chicken on the list because I do not do fish (raw or cooked) There were plenty of add in and the marinades and sauces were delish. I could not finish mine. The price was great and the owners and staff could not have been nicer. If you have not been I suggest you give it a try
