Info needed

I have a record album that I would like to get recorded on a thumb drive. I’ve had this album since 1970’s and would like to listen to again. I do not a turn table any longer. Any reconditions would be great.
Thank in advance for the help

Amazon has a few turntables with built in speakers, Bluetooth, and a USB connection to record onto a computer, and they are less than $60.

You could also visit the Goodwill stores. They often have turntables for sale.

It is way easier to just bite the bullet and pay the 10 bucks and download the album in digital form. It will sound way better too. I had the Album FM that I moved from Tape to Digital years ago. It had the skips and everything but I downloaded it and it sounded way better.

I agree. You could also try to buy the CD on Amazon, or record the songs from YouTube or YouTube Music. Another option is to check the Sumter County and Lake County libraries to see if they have the CD, in which case you can rip a copy to your computer for free.

What artist and album, I have a large collection of MP3's I may be able to help.

I also have about 1300 albums on my computer and could make you a thumb drive or CD, if I have the album.

Go to eBay and get the cd for $2.
I guess people don’t realize that copying music is illegal. Just because you have it doesn’t mean you can give me a copy

If you can find the songs on Spotify you can play them and record them with a program like Audacity.

Except isn't that illegal?

What album do you have?
I collect records and maybe interested in purchasing it from you. You can then use the money to buy the album in CD format.

It depends. There have been several court cases on whether or not copying music is illegal. I think the basic rule is that, if you are copying the music to sell, it is definitely illegal. But, if you are copying music for personal use or for sharing, it may or may not be illegal, on a case by case basis. If it is illegal, then there are millions of people who have broken the law. Most people will buy a CD or MP3 song, and copy it to their phone, car, and other devices. They certainly don't buy a copy for every device they own. Millions of people have used Windows Media Player and Itunes to the rip CDs.

Actually, because the OP owns the LP, I would think since he has bought those songs there would be no legal issue.
