Purchasing ¼ or ½ cow for meat

Good Day,

Years ago, we would purchase ¼ to ½ cow for meat. We are thinking about doing it again, especially with meat prices going so high. Does anyone have a suggestion for a place or ranch that sells this that's near The Villages? Thanks in advance!

There's a good chance your house is sitting on the very spot that use to do just that. = )

The elites in TV don't want you to know this but the ducks in the parks are free. You can take them home. I have 458 ducks.

Almost as good as beef.

You might try these folks, if they don’t maybe know others.

There's a local ranch that usually sets up at the farmers market at Brownwood on Saturdays. They seem to have a pretty good selection and there's almost always people at their trailer. You might talk to them about locker beef.

You can ask at Browns Farm on 301. They slaughter and sell their own meats.

The higher inflation goes, the less my wife and I eat beef, just isn't worth the price.
We might buy hamburger from time to time for meat balls or a burger on the grill, but that's it.
There's cheaper ways to get protein.

Same with eating in a restaurant, home cooking and eating in for us.

Back in the mid 80’s cows, orange groves and crops were everywhere on both sides of 27 down through here… Progress has sucked over the last 75 years!

The Marion Co youth fair is coming up. It is an excellent place to buy a steer or lamb or hog. You bid on them it helps the kids and you know the animals were raised right.

Hmmm wonder what my neighbors would say if they saw me walking Elsie down the block?

Call Chick over at Stu’s place they have the meats…

I was going to suggest Whole Foods, but then you would have to buy the whole cow.
