I just found out the whole neighborhood had a meeting about the crazy person that lives on the block.

Weird that they didn't invite me.

May I suggest you get an outside camera — with a range to give you good warning of Villagers with torches and pitchforks approaching.

Please do not depend on just a too late doorbell camera — although — being Villagers, they would probably politely ring it.
