Replace Glass Panel Patio Door
 

The seal is broken on the glass on one side of the patio door.
Looking for a good contractor to replace the glass.

We used Lake Glass in Leesburg, $1000 for both panes of slider 352-787-4700

How old is your home?
The glass may be covered by warranty if not too old.
Labor would be extra.
I think the warranty period is 10 years!

If not under warranty, you might check out Romac windows, Leesburg,
they probably supplied your original windows
and may even have a replacement panel in stock,
since they are a pretty standard size.

T & D Distribution
 

We have a new house and the double glass door was scratched by the final cleaners. T&D Distribution had provided the doors. They replaced them. The two men who came did a great job, quickly with very little disruption. I don't know if they do non-construction house calls but I was very happy with them. They are located on 301 between the turnpike and Warm Springs rd. On the internet their ph is 352-748-2007.

Check with Home Warranty (352-753-6222), they can tell you if it is still under warranty. If so, you will only pay the labor charge. The windows are probably from RoMac or T&D Windows. If it is NOT under warranty then I would call both T&D or RoMac. They will measure and get you either new door(s) or just replace the glass insert.

Yes it might be covered under the warranty you have, but the older the warranty is the less the warranty pays, it’s pro rated! We know because we had to put a new window in our kitchen & we had to pay some of it. Replacements are way out of hand!

Call Romac Windows & Doors. We had the same problem in 2016 with one slider and last year with another. Our house is just 10 years old this year so both times under warranty. Just was a $95 labor cost to replace. I believe they quoted me a cost of $300 last year if it was no longer under warranty. good luck.
