Ship left to burn
Do you wonder why a ship full of cars is left to burn? Could it be the batteries?
|
From the WSJ:
Salvage crews boarded the Felicity Ace merchant ship that caught fire with a cargo of luxury Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini, Audi and Volkswagen vehicles, and began towing the vessel to safety, the operator of the ship said Friday. Evidently not much left to burn. |
What, my Bentley went up in smoke? And I had been waiting so long for it.
Just kidding. |

OK people, if what they say started this fire from battery's, stop to think about the general public, (you and I)
that pay 50, 60, and 70 + dollars for electric vehicles that we can't park them in our garage because of the battery's. What a world we live in. |

So many electric golf carts and cars bursting into flames all over TV.
Houses destroyed. Roads blocked with debris. Complete mayhem. Stay safe! |

Those tires will burn forever. Very sad.
|
Sad part is the soon to be owners of the cars will have to wait another 6 months to a year:ohdear:

Apparently the fire department was called, but they weren’t able to get out into the middle of the ocean in time.
|
They said it was Lithium batteries. How many have these parked in their garage car or cart. I read a car dealer had a Bentley on the ship that he had bought, said every car on the ship had already been sold. Sounds like their delivery time has been extended some.
