Brownwood Bridge - WHEW!!!
Wife and I crossed the bridge a short time ago (near 1PM). We just missed getting hit by a smaller SUV, possibly a Mazda or Subaru, moving at a fairly good clip on the downside of the bridge. We were heading up towards Brownwood. He may have needed to get his strawberries home? :MOJE_whot::MOJE_whot::MOJE_whot:

I noticed an un-tagged vespa yesterday on the MMP- who is to stop them? |
I won’t reiterate all the times I have seen cars on the rec trails but twice in the last month while going west on Colony blvd approaching Colony cottage rec ctr I have prevented a car from turning left onto the rec trail that leads to the 466-a tunnel. There is a turning lane there (for carts or bikes) and the car goes into that lane with turn signal on. I laid down on the horn and both times the drivers realized their error and I let them in front of me to continue going west. I have seen a full sized sedan coming out of that tunnel heading north.

Well, maybe, maybe, maybe, there is a slim possibility that these people will see themselves in these stories and realize they did something stupendously stupid. If we just ignore it, nothing will change.

I wonder why they are not posts in the ground to prevent anything wider than a cart to pass.

these are retirees who drive a golf cart 90% of the time, and then forget how to drive a car the other 10% of the time. . .

Are you sure what you saw was not one of the newer style Atomics that look just like a small 4 door SUV? I know of a couple of people that thought they were actual SUV's. In fact, I took a double take the first time I saw one.

Probably because no one stops them from doing it.
