Massachusetts requires people to have health insurance. If they're too poor, the state picks up some of the tab.

In short, over 50,000 illegal aliens are in the state plan, with it costing taxpayers over $35M. Not just MA taxpayers, *everyone*.

So the next time some "advocate" says that illegal immigration doesn't cost anything - point them there.

The only advocats are politicians seeking votes.
 

The rest of us are against illegal immigration and the free rides and special treatments.

It is worse than that in Mass...my son tried to get this insurance and could not afford it, he makes about 9.00/hr,,,so he is penalized to the tune of 300.00-400.00 per year, but illegals get it free, and his taxes pay for it....he has no insurance....what is wrong with this picture!!!! Mass is the pits, glad to be out of there....they also make it impossible for companies to function...the requirements that they saddle them with are terrible....
