Kin homeowners ins.

I was just wondering how many have Kin HO's Ins? .. how long have you had them? have you had to make any claims and if so were there any problems? I know they are a relatively new but everything I've read on reviews of the company seem good so just wondering what everyone else thinks??? the rates I was quoted by several different companies went from a high of $2100 to $1200 .. Kin was about $675 for the same coverage

We were thrilled with Kin. Premium even more so because they did not require new roof after wind mitigation report on 22 yr spanish tile 50-80 year roof.
More coverage for less, exact coverage as before.

Just search for "KIN" there about 20 topics with it discussed. Also lots of people trying to make $25 with their reference codes (quite easy to tell). That being said I too quoted with Kin recently vs. current provider and they were a lot less until I realized their ROOF COVERAGE was being quoted as depreciated value vs. replacement cost. When I changed their quote to full replacement cost for roof they were about $20 or so less than current company. Quoting actual prices is meaningless as there are dozens of variables in coverages between every other person's insurance vs yours. Make sure you are looking at IDENTICAL COVERAGES between your current policy and what they quoted you on. Online quotes are most always lowball UNLESS you "customize" the quote to match exactly what you currently have.. Telling you I pay $750 a year is meaningless.

Kin Insurance

Just got my renewal notice from Kin Insurance. Last year I paid $965.00 and this year they want $2,031.00. I sent them an email and I am awaiting their response. BTW...no claims during the 13 years that I have lived here.
