Sound system at Savannah Ctr lately

We go to a lot of concerts at the Savannah Ctr and The Sharon. Lately the sound system has been extremely loud. It has happened at the last 2 concerts we have attended but before that it was great. We go with a group of people and we sit in different sections by couple. Our whole group has noticed the change and you cannot understand the words of the lead singer as it's muffled by the loudness of the musicians. Hope someone at Savannah can adjust it back to the way it was and yes I am messaging Savannah Ctr.

Maybe they fixed it but saw Celtic Fire yesterday there and the sound system sounded fine. Could clearly hear the musicians and the lead singer. Excellent experience.

I agree. I did write to Villages Entertainment about the volume. We are all old but not all deaf. Turn it down!

Some acts have their own sound people....might not be a Villages issue.

I find that it's better to turn off my hearing aids at the Savannah....not the case with the Sharon

ha...maybe it's not the sound system...it's just us getting older LOL

We've seen two performances at the Savannah Center in the last two weeks and I commended to my husband that i thought the sound system was improved over earlier times. That said, it was somewhat loud.

The Boy Scout motto is "be prepared". For frequent concert-goers, I think that they could invest in a very good and comfortable set of ear defenders. There are probably models that have adjustments for different volumes. This may be too unfashionable for some?

I would say that most of the acts have their own sound man and most often their own board. They do a sound check before the audience arrives and get it to sound how they want it.
