Car rental

Is there anyone who rents old cars by the day or week cheaply? Our 2017 volvo broke down and we'll have to pay for it to be towed to be repaired. We can't afford a lengthy rental from an expensive rental car place. Wondering if anyone does it privately?
We're new here and do not know anyone. Family is all up in PA. Ideas?

Used to be a company called rent a wreck renting old cars but have not seen an ad for them for some time.

Have you asked the garage doing the repairs for a loan car?

Insurance company gets you a highly discounted rate if in for a claim. Always try enterprise first. Tell them car is in shop. You need to call the local office

May be a Rent a Wreck in Fruitland Park. The phone number is 352 365 0559 according to Google.

If you have a golf cart, you should he able to manage without your car -- just change your lifestyle a bit until it is repaired ( the car)!

to late this time , but before it happens again , how about getting a triple A membership like most people and an insurance policy that gives you some rental car relief things many think they don’t need until they do

Lyft, Uber. Why do you have to have a car? Why do you think the repair on the Volvo will be lengthy? It could be something simple considering it is just a 2017 model

Babubhat 04-03-2022 07:03 PM

Wildwood tire or Sumter tire for honest evaluation

We had the same thing happen. We couldn't find a car as it was "prime time". We found a great deal on Priceline yes that right just sign up to be a member . They gave us locations that had cars and it was 50%less. We went with Avis in Ocala . It was about a 30 minute ride up 301. Easy to get to and they were easy to work with. Good luck

As one or two people said turo.com, but I would call directly one or two of the auto rental places around here, especially Enterprise in Leesburg as I know years ago they would give me a deal for a whole month rental that was really cheap, a lot of times the prices on the internet are set in stone but you can call them up as they are franchises owned by real people
