Help on golf cart roof upgrade
 

We have a Yamaha 2 seater golf cart to which we have had a rear seat installed. The rear seat is great but we want to replace the roof with an 80” or 84” roof for both shade and weather. We ordered a new “universal” 84 inch roof from Buggies Unlimited in Jacksonville but they did not have an installation kit for our model. Because the rear seat is slightly higher than the the front seat we need either a raised roof or step roof. We know that there is a fabric hood extension that one can purchase but that only works for children and is not what we want. Can you suggest anyone that could perform the roof upgrade? somewhat off topic.......with the extended roof I hope you do not plan to golf with this cart. With the longer roof, you cannot get your clubs out of the bag as they hit the roof

We do not play golf, but thank you for your response. Golf cart is largely for grandchildren and friends when they visit, and the run to pickup the mail.
