Redo walk in shower. Looking for local/ honest contractor

Rip out and replace with new modern acrylic/etc panels. ( no tile or grout).
Live in the Amelia area. If anyone has had this done we would love to check it out if possible. Thanks Jim

Acrylic is really cheesy. Go Corian or marble.

While I agree, it is their choice and their taste. Let's try and be helpful and not judgmental.

While I have occasionally dealt with what I would call an "honest contractor" I believe more often than not the term is an oxymoron. In fact, I would say that for more than 50% of them, "Contractor" is a three-syllable word for Thief.

Wonder if the op misspoke, using the word acrylic rather than resin. Central FL Kitchen & Bath, in Ocala uses Terra Stone, which is a resin solid surface product. Acrylic is what BathFitters uses, and I agree might be cheaper and possibly cheesy.

Good luck with your project. We had a very bad experience with Wildwood Kitchen and Bath that ended up in small claims court to resolve the issues. I would strongly suggest staying away from them.

We had a great experience with Doc's in our kitchen. When we decide to redo our bath we will call them.

Doc's is reputable, but expensive.
