Who to use for Home Security and Fire Service

Looking for a reasonably priced service to take care of my house down here. Specifically for break ins and fire alerts. I have a little dog who I would want saved.
Who do you all use. What do you get for what service from what company? Thanks, Bud

Have you considered SimpliSafe?

If you’re a full timer (and with the dog, I assume you are) - I really don’t think you need to pay for a service. Lock the doors, get a few cameras and you should be okay.

Many cameras can be linked to your phone for alerts, same goes for some of the DIY security systems, then you decide if you need to call 911.

I have ring cameras that send pictures to my phone. They are recorded. Plus live view with sound.
