Small landscaping job

I have been trying to find someone to do a small landscaping job for weeks...I need my robellini trimmed and a little sod put down and I called everyone that advertises in the paper figuring if they're advertising they are looking for work...nope...either they don't call back or they put a price on the job like "I only do jobs for no less than $3,500." In the past I would call this company and say I need my robellini trimmed at your convenience and I would put the cash under the mat...they would come by and just do it...I called and text...nothing...I even said name your price...nothing...I guess there is too much work and not enough workers...

I've used EV & Sons Landscaping for some smaller jobs a couple of times.
His phone number is out here on TOTV if you do a search on his name, I don't have it offhand. Text him and he'll stop by to give you a quote and if you have the sod, he'd probably do it on the spot.

I would not use him for big-time jobs, but for something like you describe he should handle it just fine. I understand about contractors not wanting to talk to you unless it's in the 4 digits and up range. Good luck.

Due to the cost of sending a truck just to look at it. Give you a price, then go get the sod, bring it back then do the job. The landscaper has a half day and $20 in gas tied up. Why don't you watch for trucks in your neighborhood, and ask them for a price and let them do the job the next time they're in your area. "Win Win" for everyone. Len
