Not a single on-line weather report indicated any problem for last night. There was zero reason to be concerned. "Better safe than sorry" most certainly does not apply in this case!

It is not clear what information was used to make the call. At least one 12Z model run had convection over us during the time window. There was some convection earlier in the afternoon. Lightning is the issue. It was a conservative but prudent call.

I would raise this complaint at the under mentioned meeting.

Sorry their agenda is full already

Their agenda is always full, which is another thing I want to put on their agenda. I mean, why is their agenda always full. It's not fair.

It's because people like you keep raising more complaints.

We will never know why but wonder why entertainment was cancelled so early. I am sure the folks that pay for the entertainment (merchants at the square) lost business due to this as well and cannot be very happy.

On that note, I was surprised to see the lack of a lightning warning system in a place with some many golf courses.
