Flag poles

Thinking of having a telescoping flag pole installed in my front yard. What should I expect to pay for the pole and installation? Ball park number.

This is who we used. Great guy. Stands behind his product and installations. You’re looking around $400 -$450. You can’t even buy the flagpole for what he comes and installs it for. He even does the ARC paperwork.

Wow if truly bronze it is likely designed for use in a salt water environment. Stainless steel would likely cost less.

It’s made from 13gauge aluminum. It just has a bronze finish. You can also get them in black or silver.

Flag and Flag Poles. 352-751-1876. On 441 just south of 466 on left

He Installed my first flag pole in TV 12 years ago and last year installed a telescoping pole . I don’t think I paid over $200 for pole and installation,. If I did, it wasn’t much over.

Paul Roberts bought Village Flagpoles from Therm Nichols last year. Last November he installed our flagpole with a 4 x 6 nylon American flag and an American eagle topper. I highly recommend him. You can call him for a price.

You might need approval from the committee.

You do need ARC approval, at least we did. I think I printed a form and filled it out. Paul Roberts added to it and submitted it for approval.

There was an add in the paper just the other day from "The Flag Pole Guy" advertising 20 foot telescoping pole with flag installed for $169. Add solar light for $60. Does not mention ARC work. 352-301-3483.

Flagpoles are definitely not something I would go cheap on.

In June 2020, we used Flag and Flag Poles, 352-751-1876. It’s on the east side of 441 just south of 466. We paid approximately $185 for the telescoping 20’ pole and flag. He provides you the number of the installer he recommends and you call to schedule an appointment- it cost $69 paid directly to the installer.

I would get the ARC approval before scheduling appointment for installation. The ARC paperwork is super easy to get and fill out - the community standards people can tell you were to get your site plan and you just print out the application and sight plan and either drop it office at Lake Sumter office or mail it in.
They email you back the answer and mail you back the paperwork with the approval- I put in my safe deposit box.

Buy the pole kit off line, get a galvanized fence, post two bags of concrete, set the post and slide the flagpole over the fence post and you’re done! Then go buy a good Flag that will last a season for like $65

Most people will sell a thin wall flagpole. If you want quality and long term, 10-11 gauge. Expensive but will outlast you. Expect to pay $225+ for the pole plus installation. Installation is easily done by the homeowner but would add about $75 to cost.
