27 Unlocked Vehicles Burglarized
During the last weekend of June, deputies in Marion County responded to the 2300 block of NE 23rd Pl. in reference to vehicle burglaries. The victim advised that two unlocked vehicles were entered and several items were stolen. Further investigation revealed that an additional six unlocked vehicles were also burglarized. I'm a born New Yorker, we were taught to lock up everything as soon as we could hold a key.
There was a news piece a few years back where an FBI agent's gun and ID was stolen from his open car. Why leave things in your open car, just put it on your front lawn with a sign. |
