Don't let him in
3 Attachment(s)
As I was driving over to a friend's house in the ...... Villas, I was listening to the Wings song "Let Em In". The gator that visited her house yesterday returned this evening. I didn't have to tell her to don't let him in. Apparently, high walls around Villas are not a deterrence to a visit by this gator that keeps coming back.

His nickname is Coo, coo, ca-choo

On the first night of his sleeping at her door, she only called community watch to have a trapper arrive the following morning after the gator had departed. There is only one entrance to the Villa as high walls surround all the properties within thus this gator had to have twice walked the whole length of the main street to find her house. Last night, she called both community watch and 911 to have a trapper arrive about an hour later to remove an angry gator. As she needs a walker to get around, I am very happy she didn’t open the door after hearing sounds like someone was knocking at the door.

A fed gator is a dead gator

That is actually a small one. Interesting that it is attracted to that spot. Looking for a place to drop eggs? I would try removing the mat. I ate alligator once on a dare, years ago. Nothing special. I would rather eat it than have it eat me.

Wow! I too am glad she didn't open the door. I wonder, does she have a window that looks onto the front porch? Of one of those security cameras? I am concerned that most people hearing knocking at the door would open it.
