Learn about heat lightning, why clouds move in different directions at different heights, the primary mechanisms for creating thunderstorms, and much more -- including why the Villages is in a tornado "dead zone" when it comes to Doppler weather radar warnings.

It would be nice to have a true explanation 2022 is colder than average, with today's headlines. I do appreciate your planned talk on Lightning and Hurricanes. That was basic science, learning about that in grade school if some were not sleeping.

Not only is the 2022 "trend" discussed in this talk, but the majority of this talk goes far beyond grade school, including issues where the Weather Channel gets it wrong.
