Medical Advocacy
 

Is there any group or organization in the area that helps with medical complaints? I am in constant pain and I believe the last treatent I recieved may have made it worse. Plus the doctor's office is not providing the required treament history to the insurance company for them to approve next step diagnostic tests. I am looking for advice on how to procede.

I do not know of a specific medical advocacy group, but I would contact Seniors Against Crime and ask for advice, they may be able to help you. A call to Medicare directly may also get you some help, as I recall you can file a complaint with them also.

Our health care system is in pretty sad shape, very strong self advocacy is an absolute necessity.

Here's a chore that would give anyone a heart attack.
