Gas Grill Recommendation

My 10-year-old Weber Gensis gas grill has served me well and now I need to replace it.
The cost of repair would cost more than a new one

What would make a good replacement?

Cheers !

Weber, 10 year warranty on some parts, and replacement parts are reasonably priced.

What do you mainly cook? You may want to consider a gas griddle or pellet grill.

Love to BBQ and I am Another Weber fan.

One of the best things I did was have a natural gas line installed. Burns hotter and never run out of fuel.

I'd go with another Weber, but I'd be really surprised if replacing the non-functional parts costs more than a new one. Have you really priced it out? I have 20 year old Weber, I've replaced some parts on and it was way way cheaper than a new one.

We went with a charcoal ceramic grill. It's not as fast as gas but it does provide more flavor, according to my wife...

We are still using the Webber gas grill we bought in 1992. I replaced the burner elements, flavor bars, and grill grates about a dozen years ago and will need to again soon. Last year I had to weld some reinforcements in a couple small rusted areas, easy peasy. I’ll keep it running as long as we are able to keep grilling : )

I'm a lifetime Weber guy. Tried a Web a que. I'll never go back to a full-size grill. This thing is so forgiving that my wife can cook on it. Don't go cheap buy the top model.

I'll keeping my Weber Genesis as long as possible. We purchased it nearly 20 years ago. I replaced the flavorizer bars and the grates about 6 months ago and this grill is still going strong. I won't have any other brand.

Agree about the Weber. Ours up north is 22 years old and we use it 3-4 times a week. Parts are cheap relatively speaking when compared to the price of a new grill. I've replaced just about everything but the shell and frame. It does not have a cover and sits outside during the winter.

I never thought I would like a griddle, but I went with a Blackstone. Reasonably priced at Lowes.

I like the flexibility of the griddle.

I'm a Weber fan too. I just replaced the cast grill plates along with the flavor bars on my 10 year old grill with stainless steel and it's like a new grill again. The burners are still in good shape.

My previous grill was a Char-Broil made by Nexgrill and that was a piece of junk. Always covered or in the garage and the burners rusted out after 2 years. Almost exploded on me but luckily I had the lid up and just burnt a little hair. All 5 burners were shot and I could crumble them between my thumb and finger. They had a 3 year replacement warranty but they charged $7 per burner for shipping so the free replacement was $35. Then the wheels started falling off and nursed it along for 4 years and bought a Weber and could not be happier.

Nexgrill makes a few different brands like Char-Broil and Kitchen Aid under license but I would never buy another that they build.

Weber for me too. Best grill I have ever owned.
