Red Fox Hole 9 blind shots

You can't even see the flag on hole 9. Isn't that ridiculous for a par 3? You can't even see if people are on the green. FInally had to drive up past the bushes to see the green. Then back again to the tee.

You wouldn’t like playing Pelican.

As of last week, I haven’t had any problem seeing the flag from the tee box.

Yep. I was there yesterday. I'm 6ft tall and can still see the flag, barely. a few more days of growth and I won't be able to see it either. I can't see if anyone is on the green without moving up the cart path a little way. With my 5 iron we were certain that I had cleared the swamp without going over the green, but alas, the ball was not to be found. Another contribution to the swamp monster. With water in that pond I don't see how they can do anything with the weeds until they die on their own this winter.

My wife said what's the problem?
She hasn't seen a green on most courses for years because of failing eyesight.
She knows the yardage, I line her up when required, and watch the flight, and she hits about 80% of greens each time, and worse still, she can putt!
She cannot see, but can hear a pin drop.
I am profoundly deaf, with 20/20 (nearly) vision.
We are the perfect couple!

Call the director of executive course maintenance. He can do so much more than any of us posters.

Then the complaining will begin that the weeds were removed because the snowbirds were beginning to arrive for the season.

Just hit the ball and move on so the next in line can hit theirs. Don't want to hold up the game.
😏

But then that person wouldn’t be able to get on here and complain.

They can take some shears out there and trim them if they want to, but again, they couldn’t complain…..

No one behind pal.

There is a small gap to the right through which you can see the green (but not the flag). Hit in the gap and you have a 30 foot putt - no problem.

Aim for the big tree right of the barn, put a small amount of draw on the ball and bingo, right into the swamp.

Wilson02852 08-14-2022 09:05 AM

Why don't you stick with pitch and putt courses?
