Tinted versus non Tinted windshield

I need to replace the fold down windshield on my Club Cart. I have never owned a cart with a tinted windshield and before I buy another non tinted I would like to understand if a tinted windshield may offer some advantages.

I am guessing the tint helps with glare? How is it for night driving?

Anything else folks that have driven a cart with a tinted windshield can share?

Thanks
Alan

If I had a choice, I would opt for non-tinted. The reason is that if its that sunny I will use sun glasses and no need for the tint and I do a lot of night driving (to the square and back) therefore appreciate all the brightness I can get from less that perfect headlights and old eyes.

The amber tint on my EZGo RXV is so light that it does not affect night driving. Of course, it also makes little difference in bright sun, and you'll still need sun glasses. I find that wearing a white or light shirt sometimes reflecting on the inside of the windshield can be distracting.

I find the tinted makes it a little tougher to see at night. I even added extra lights to compensate. Of course in warm weather the windshield is down, so this is not a factor. I always wear sun glasses in the day so really again the windshield is down and not a factor.

Thanks. That all makes good sense. I will stick with non tinted. My current window has become scratched over the years, I think the previous owners used sandpaper to clean it :). The scratches make night driving quite tricky, especially if the cart coming at you has lights pointed high or high beems...
