Golf Cart Paths Map
 

I downloaded the paper map and it’s too small. Does anyone know if there is a GPS that is not an app on a device that can be purchased to find all the golf cart paths?

Hi, by 'not an app on a device' do you mean not a phone or do you mean not any kind of computer at all?

If you only mean phone, then using Google Maps on a computer & choosing directions & setting it to bikes rather than cars does a reasonably good (not perfect) job of showing all of the car paths in The Villages. This is not a purchase but free to use.

If you want a paper map that shows all the cart routes, you could buy The Villages map (now maps). You can buy those at The Villages store in any of the town squares. The nice thing about the map is if you ever need directions, I can guarantee you that just stop, unfold the map, and you will be surrounded by people offering to help! Great way to meet new people!!!

I like a paper map, not an app. The Map(s) at the Villages store now come as a pair. The map of Brownwood going north is great, the map for south of Brownwood is so incomplete and outdated it is almost worthless. Those maps need to be updated at least a couple times a year so residents can swap out the old for the new.

The Villages was putting a screen inn the Lifestyles carts that I suspect included gps.

They were removing them when reselling those carts.

The Villages app gives GPS directions using the cart paths. It's free and it works... As for the map it doesn't show all the stuff south of the turnpike.... The GPS will....
