My Middleton

Anyone else watch the new Middleton video by The Developer, or peruse the new MyMiddleton . com website?

If I were a kid now, and knew what I know now, that would be an incredible place to go to high school! The facilities and industry-focused curriculums are amazing. The update video is on the website.

I wonder if home values will go up higher, or be lower, than the age-restricted areas? Over time of course.

I wonder if someone is 30 years old working at Johnny Rockets or Publix, or directly by The Villages and their kid(s) goes to school at The Villages Charter Schools, what happens if they stop working there? Do we have to sell their house and leave? Is there a certain vestment period, do they have to work for The Villages or a 3rd party in The Villages for a certain number of years, like 3, before their kid(s) are "qualified" to attend Villages schools?

That is terrific! Can seniors live there too? Personally, the constant sea of old faces is not my cup of tea. I enjoy my cohorts but I want a blend of society, youth adds so much energy to life and I am fortified by the vigor.

I realize everyone has their own happiness but this would be great for those of us who miss the normalcy in our lives.

In the past, the Villages have restricted access to the multi-modal trails to only the Village residents who are paying for the maintenance of these trails. It will be interesting to see if both Village residents and the families living in Middleton have access to the same areas using multi-modal trails. Will there be restrictive or free connectivity using these trails between Middleton and the rest of the Villages?

Office of Admissions - Change of Employment

Nice. Found this at the link you referenced. I wonder who, if anyone, actively polices the parent(s) continued employment?

From the link:
Employment is verified on each new applicant and will be verified on a monthly basis for all enrolled students.

The videos show free connectivity.

:ohdear: I don't think that is correct. If you live in the family section off CR101 or Oak Meadows you have access to the M/M trails.

:agree: I agree. But how did they do it without any input from some of our posters?

It is interesting that you can’t comment on the video.

Hopefully they are monitoring TOTV so that they can get feedback from the people who live here.

You are correct however the numbers grow from maybe a few hundred families to how many thousands of families planned in the Middleton area? Maybe the number of younger people using the multi-modal trails will be a good thing if there is total connectivity and these people living in Middleton help pay for the multi-modal trail maintenance for all Villagers.
