Looking for home health care aid recommendations or referrals!
 

Over the past 6 months my 86 yr old father has been aging super rapidly...difficulty getting out of his chair and bed, unsteady on his feet, etc.. He just saw his primary care doctor, nothing much wrong other than getting old.

Today he fell getting out of bed and was on the floor alone for 20-30 minutes. When I got there he had zero energy--he was total dead weight, and I was just barely able to get him back in bed by myself. I called 911 because he was slurring his words, but he did not have any kind of stroke or heart attack, just super weak and likely a little dehydrated.

My father has a DNR and is adamant that he never wants to go to assisted living or a nursing home. If anyone has referrals or recommendations for daytime home health care aids, I'd appreciate it!

I have no idea if this falls under the services provided by Concierge Home Care, but both my wife and I received care from this agency after outpatient surgeries, their phone number is 352-435-0101, and as I recall they have some arrangement for 24/7 coverage.We were both pleased with the care.
