Hope this does not backfire on all of us

This is great news - just got off Holland America ship to Alaska a few weeks ago - was a sham that no guests were wearing a mask, but all crew were required to do so - most people agree it’s time to move on!

…hope they got the OK from Fauci…

Just another sign we continue to move toward normal.....pre-pandemic way of living.

Hundreds of thousands of people cruising for at least the last 6 months?

Must be OK as there is no panic reporting of any results......good or bad.

Slowly but surely the pandemic is moved to yesterdays news/hysteria.......thank GOD!

… and kind of related, over 60,000 USAMilitary will be let go in the next few weeks because they are unvaccinated.

Stupid is as Stupid does. Idiotic way to deplete our military further.

Some 40,000 National Guard and 22,000 Reserve soldiers who refused to be vaccinated against COVID-19 are no longer allowed to participate in their military duties, also effectively cutting them off from some of their military benefits, Army officials announced Friday.

"Soldiers who refuse the vaccination order without an approved or pending exemption request are subject to adverse administrative actions, including flags, bars to service, and official reprimands," an Army spokesperson said in a statement.

In the future, Soldiers who continue to refuse the vaccination order without an exemption may be subject to additional adverse administrative action, including separation," the Army spokesperson said.

The long-term impact may mean many soldiers would be forced to leave, a devastating outcome especially in the middle of a recruiting crisis as Defense Department officials struggle to fill the ranks.

Wonder how the cruise feels about this. Been on 3 cruises this past year and we are all tested and always some passengers and crew test positive by end of cruise.

I got covid on a cruise this august. It’s the passengers you need to worry about. The crew gets tested quite often. now they don’t even require a passenger to have a negative test to get on.

Do they send you a personal message with this information? Curious because we too have been on six cruises with Royal Caribbean and never have received any notification.

Got info from either passengers or crew members. Stuff like this spreads like wildfire on a ship.

Even told us where on the ship the passengers are being quarantined

Military personnel have to be vaccinated against a host of diseases. They -cannot- be deployed without those OTHER vaccinations. So what's one more to the list?

Are those other vaccines still under "emergency use" approval and do they have an increased incidence of Myocarditis in healthy young men age 18-25?
