zip/unzip utility app
would the gurus here be able to recommend a good -free- application for unzipping files downloaded from the internet? am a novice user looking to download some seasonal fonts, cursors, and other pc candy. i'll appreciate any and all information. tia

But I don't believe winzip is free. :(

am considering 7 Zip. cnet gives it good marks; great user reviews; and free. used to use winzip back when an evaluation offering was free! wonder why i haven't unzipped files in years!

not using windows 7 - still have vista on desktop and something older on laptop! ooper - did you not like 7 zip? i googled and was so overwhelmed with response that i went to cnet.com and pcworld.com and read through their recommendations! |
